Leila Esmailzada – Intern


Leila is a recent graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology. As an undergraduate student, she studied abroad in Madagascar where she researched food security in rural villages. Leila has a background in conservation and a strong interest in empowering communities through education. Following graduation, she returned to Madagascar to work on a community development project collecting data on day-to-day challenges that are commonly faced in rural communities. As a wildlife education intern, she assists in creating the wildlife education program for the children, while also incorporating the larger community.
